As before, this listing comprises all known fatal casualties, POWs and gallantry awards for Other Ranks enlisted within this DLI number block, which was allocated in early to mid-1940. Circumstantial evidence suggests that many of the recruits in this mid-1940 block of numbers were originally posted to the 155th Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps (15th DLI), which did not serve abroad, prior to going on active service with other units, including the 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, 9th 10th, 11th and 16th DLI.
