Hartlepool Mail, 9/4/42, p 2: 'Mr and Mrs Wilfred Oliver, of 27 Gas Street, have received official news of the death of their third son, Pte Henry Oliver (22), of the DLI, previously reported missing. Pte Oliver had been serving in the Middle East since 1940. He prevously worked at the Expansion. He has a brother serving and his father is an "Old Contemptible" of the DLI.'
